Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.The second application is when the video signal is run over distances greater than 50 feet. The coaxial cable has a fair amount of signal loss over long distances. When multiple monitors are connected after long runs of coax, the degradation can be severe, especially when dealing with modern, high bandwidth signals that have 500+ lines of resolution.The VDA403 is a Video Distribution Amplifier designed for professional applications. It will operate with NTSC & PAL video signals as well as many common Black & White signals. These units use the latest integrated amplifier technology for superior performance and reliability. Basic Quad J-Type Analog Thermocouple Amplifier

Analog thermocouple amplifier board based on the AD849x from Analog Devices (successor of the AD597). This quad-channel thermocouple board converts the very low voltage signal from a thermocouple to a highly-linear, 0.005V/C output with either 0V or 1.245V offset (both configurations stocked) while removing unwanted noise from the signal. Many supply and output configurations are available with this board, though the PCB was designed with Arduino in mind. Specifically, the output header will plug directly into a standard Arduino Uno or Mega, with a pin-for-pin match for power supply, ground and analog outputs. With a 5V Arduino, temperatures from 0C to 1,000C are possible with the 0V offset board and -249C to 750C with the 1.245V offset board. If using a 3.3V microcontroller (Due, etc), the board must be supplied with no more than 3.3V to avoid damaging the microcontroller. Temperature measurement range is dependent on the supply voltage. It is possible to supply the board with higher voltages to allow temperature measurement over the entire operating range of the K-Type and J-Type thermocouples, allowing use with more capable data acquisition equipment.

Nex Flow® Air amplifiers are compact, low cost air flow “movers” that are virtually maintenance free. Applications include the venting of fumes and smoke, conveying of low weight materials, and entraining a high volume of air to cool, blow off, and dry. Air Amplfiiers use the “Coanda effect” to draw in the surrounding atmosphereic air while consuming only aminimal amount of compressed air. These products can amplify airflow up to 17 times (depending on the size) resulting in dramatcally reduced levels of noise. Air Amplifiers (also called Air Movers) draw in atmospheric air from the back of the unit as well as having downstream entrainment further amplifying the flow. They are used for cooling and venting. While the force produced for blow off decreases as the amplifier outlet diameter increases, these Air Movers are ideal for cooling because of the high velocity outlet fow and and are much more effective for cooling compaed to air nozzles.
