They are housed in cast aluminum cases, along with silica gel which provides continuous desiccation. These cases are sealed with high-temperature wax. A well is provided in the wall of the case for insertion of a dial-type thermometer. Three jack-top binding posts are provided on the top of the case, and removable banana plugs on the bottom, for convenient parallel connection without error

The RA062-F2 is a multiple LO module used to generate three pairs of LO signals, each pair being phase matched in order to provide the capability to drive two phase and amplitude matched, high sensitivity narrowband receivers such as might be required for an EW receiver system with DF functionality.The Stepped Frequency Synthesiser is based upon Direct Frequency Synthesis, DFS, whereby the 1GHz input reference signal is multiplied, filtered and mixed to generate a given number of isolated and filtered single tone CW signals from the 1GHz comb. A finely tuned signal is then generated using a multi-way switch to select between the 1GHz spaced CW tones and mixed with fine resolution signals generated using a custom DDS/VCO PLL network. In this way finely tuned signals can be generated between 7.5GHz and 23GHz.

A series of broadband frequency multipliers is available with output frequencies between 18 and 110 GHz. The use of GaAs diodes on a suspended substrate circuit allows an extremely compact device. Circuit symmetry is used to enhance either even or odd harmonics while suppressing unwanted odd or even harmonics. Helmholtz Coils are ideal for the measurement of Rare Earth (Samarium Cobalt, Neodymium) and Hard Ferrite permanent magnet materials (materials which exhibit a relative straight line demagnetization). Our standard Helmholtz Coils are for use with fluxmeters. The Helmholtz Coil measures the magnet sample as a single magnetic moment provided that the longest dimension of the magnet sample is less than one-third (1/3) the diameter of the coil system. By definition, the magnetic moment per unit volume is the intrinsic magnetization of the sample. With our calibrated Helmholtz Coil and Integrated Fluxmeter – and given the volume of the permanent magnet sample – the intrinsic open circuit operating B (Bdi) can be measured.
