The timing channels record closing and an opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. Also, the main contact channels can measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker).With CAT Advanced series instruments, it is possible to record graphs of open and close coil currents.
