These are all generally wideband for Electronic Warfare applications and enable the control of the frequency spectrum into any given system. These units, also known as Switch Multiplexers, are configured with a single or multiple inputs to single or multiple filtered outputs.As an example, the SA002 features 8 channels switchable over the frequency range 2-18 GHz while the SA004 offers 17 channels over the 0.5-18GHz bandwidth. Each provides the user with a fast, flexible, filter network capable of providing different band-pass or band-stop responses on a pulse-by-pulse basis in dense signal environments.

The 40-196 is a 10 Channel 5A Fault Insertion Switch, primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive & avionics applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers. It is designed to be able to insert different fault conditions between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit, Short-Circuit between signal pairs, Short-Circuit between signal pairs and user applied fault conditions e.g. Power or GND. Shorting relays on each channel enable UUT signals to be subjected to external user applied fault conditions or to be shorted to the adjacent signal in the same channel. Relays in line with the signal allow open circuit conditions to be simulated on either side or both sides of a channel signal pair. The switching topology of the 40-196 allows channels to be interconnected so that complex fault insertion systems can be constructed.

The SixPak has two components: a relay matrix and a control box, there are several options for the controller.The relay matrix allows the selection of any 6 antennas by 2 radios or feedlines. Its lockout circuitry prevents both radios from selecting the same antenna. The 4-way series of absorptive and reflective switches operate from 100 MHz to 16 GHz. They are rated at 200 mW maximum input power and have a switching time of 100 ns. SP4T switches that operate up to 8 GHz have a maximum VSWR of 1.6:1 and minimum isolation of 60 dB. All absorptive and reflective switches manufactured by Pulsar Microwave require both positive and negative 5-volt supplies. Additionally, the TTL control logic operates from 0 to +5 VDC.
