The range of model shapes, sizes and capabilities of water quality test kits reflects the diversity of potential end users, who could just as easily work for a small laboratory as for a giant water treatment plant. The simplest water test kits are pocket-sized and measure only one water-quality parameter, such as pH or conductivity. A step above these water test kits are test kits able to measure multiple parameters, including total dissolved solids and dissolved oxygen. A bit higher up the price-performance curve are industrial-quality handheld water test kits that measure one or multiple parameters, and may even log the readings to enable trend analysis.

Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400V, some as high as 600V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input.Each passive probe is recommended for a certain oscilloscope, using the right passive probe with the right oscilloscope means that the probe will be properly compensated across the entire bandwidth. Using probes with a different oscilloscope will only let you compensate for low frequencies.

The load in the bucket is weighed during normal lifting cycle. The weighing can be started automatically or manually. The display will show the weight currently in the bucket, and the running total. Also, the number of buckets delivered is shown. The weighing system can be used as a tool toavoid over- and underloading of trucks. All loadings are stored in the main unit and can be retrieved either for printing a receipt or for transfer to PC (USB stick/ SMS). Databases of customers, materials etc. can be transferred between the office PC and the Loadtronic 3E system (using USB stick). The files can be viewed and edited in MS Office Excel or Notepad.

The A910 is a short circuit locator designed for fault location in power cables. The instrument measures the ratio of the resistances of the two sections of failed conductor using a four-wire "Kelvin" connection, thus eliminating errors associated with contact resistances of the test leads. With the A910 you can determine if the cable has more than a short and locate the first and the last fault. The instrument locates fault with an insulation resistance up to 5 Mohms in cables that have a total resistance greater than 5mohm (approximately 90 m of 300 sqmm cable) and less than 30 kohms. The distance to fault is measured as a percentage of the total length of cable and is displayed on a large LCD display.
