International Power Source

The Interpower® International Power Source (IPS) provides a low-cost, convenient source of AC power at various operating voltages and frequencies found around the world (typically 110-240VAC/50-60Hz) which is important for testing any products that are exported. Output power is delivered through one of two ranges: Low range (10-138VAC) through a standard NEMA 5-20 socket and High range (10-276VAC) through any of the six standard international sockets so that products can be conveniently powered during development or just prior to shipment.

There are many low cost artificial light sources used for illumination or for industrial applications: tungsten or halogen bulbs, fluorescent lamps, LED lamps etc. Some of these sources have regulated intensity of emitted light. However, there very few calibrated light sources of precisely known parameters. A light source can be considered as calibrated when its user can precisely regulate its photometric/radiometric parameters like luminance (or illuminance), radiance (or irradiance) at defined spectrum of interest. Such light sources are needed in many applications among them, in systems for testing night vision devices, VIS-NIR cameras and SWIR imagers. The NS-7001 is high-power noise source specifically designed to operate in the 2.11-2.17 GHz UMTS band. It features flat output power that is regulated over a wide temperature range with high rejection outside the operating band of interest. Logic control is provided to enable/disable the noise source and an internal BIT function continuously monitors the output power. Other frequency bands and power levels are available.
