The multiple input output module (MIO) is a universal, modular control unit for use in the industrial and automotive sectors. The module has two CAN interfaces and several analog and digital inputs and outputs. Incoming signals can be processed via the microcontroller and then output via the CAN interfaces or output channels. The behavior of the PCAN-MIO module is freely configured with comprehensive Windows software. A large number of function blocks and other settings are available to the user for creating such a configuration.
