The DMC-2000 is the first motion controller in the market designed for the high-speed, flexible Universal Serial Bus (USB)-which is projected as the industry standard for local network communications between PCs and peripherals.

  • Bit Error Rate Testers

    Tektronix, Inc.

The Tektronix BERTScope® and PatternPro® families provide a range of signal conditioning and BER test solutions from 1.5 Gb/s to 40 Gb/s on 1-4 channels and deliver the test and measurement industry’s broadest serial communications test portfolio of Bit Error Rate Tester products.

  • Serializer/Deserializers & Selector Muxes

    Analog Devices Inc.

Serializer/Deserializer muxes use both rising and falling edges of the clock to serialize the data from parallel inputs to serial output while demuxes deserialize the data from its serial input to parallel outputs. Selector muxes routes the differential inputs to either one or more of the desired outputs upon assertion of the appropriately selected port. Muxes can be used in various applications including High Data Rate Ethernet, Fiber Communication, Signal Routing and Broadband Test & Measurement Equipment.

  • Dual-Channel, Tri-Port Per Channel, for Extended Cabling up to 20 Meters

    FW1 - North Atlantic Industries

The FW1 provides IEEE 1394 (Firewire) high-speed serial communications. The module is provided with a direct PCIe interface to the local (on-board) processor, or, an external host processor for board platforms that support external PCIe connectivity. These module(s) are not supported with the classic memory register-based NAIBrd Software Support Kit (SSK) API libraries. These communication function modules support device control and management via standard native OS (Linux) FireWire device driver.

  • Dual-Channel, Tri-port per channel, for extended cabling up to 4.5 meters

    FW2 - North Atlantic Industries

The FW2 provides IEEE 1394 (Firewire) high-speed serial communications.

  • PCI Express 2-Port

    7203e - Sealevel Systems, Inc.

The 7203e PCI Express serial interface provides two optically isolated serial ports, each individually configurable for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485. Each serial port utilizes a 16C952 UART with 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs that enables data rates to 460.8K bps for reliable high-speed communications in data-intensive applications. This high-performance UART includes 9-bit framing support and is register compatible with legacy 16550 software applications. In addition, the board derives a 62.5 MHz clock from the PCI Express link. This ultra-high-speed clock is divided by a flexible 8-bit clock prescalar with 1/8 steps to provide support for the widest range of standard and non-standard baud rates.

  • PXI Single 10 Channel MUX, XLR Connectors

    40-735-902-S2 - Pickering Interfaces Ltd.

The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces. The MUX is available in 36:1 or 18:1 formats and enables a single source of serial data to be switched to one of 36 or 18 devices under test. This allows the data source to load information to, or receive information from, the device under test. The 36:1 version can be software configured into two independent 18 way MUXs enabling two separate sources of serial data to be connected to separate banks of 18 devices. The module is ideal for performing bulk testing of any device that relies on a serial data communications port to load software or control the device operation. It can also be used for a variety of other applications where ever a 2-pole low power MUX is required.
