Radiator Flow Test Machine

The Radiator Flow Test Machine P/N 8601 meets all requirements of military specification MIL-F-45955A (AL). It is completely self contained and requires only connection to a source of shop electrical power to place in operation. A power cable complete with three prong grounding plug is permanently attached to the machine for this purpose. The unit consists of a water storage tank, a pumping system, a flow measuring system, a support and workstation, and the required hose adapters for connection to different size radiators. The complete unit is mounted on swiveling casters. The flow rate is infinitely adjustable from 0 to 120 gallons per minute by means of a panel mounted control valve. The machine is constructed from heavy 10 gauge steel, is double welded and is coated externally and internally with a water-resistant epoxy coating. Flow measurement is accomplished by a digital panel meter with a calibrated accuracy of plus or minus 3 percent of scale between 5 and 120 gallons per minute. Higher flows available on request.

This high intensity strobe light features a molded lens to enhance the visibility of its efficient LED and it gives a powerful 1 candela light emission.Self-test of the PLB can be carried out with a simple button press with the start of test and results clearly indicated by a green flashing light. The antenna is easily extended like a normal tape measure and can be retracted using the winding mechanism on the top of the unit. The Hawk® EMS is a wall or tripod-mounted radiation monitoring and alarm system designed for use with the Hawk® Radius dual sensor radiation probe. Each EMS System comes with a Hawk Radius Probe. The system is extremely energy efficient and can run for weeks on an internal 9 volt back-up battery if power fails. It is well suited for operating on a small solar panel, which is an optional accessory. The Hawk® EMS features two displays that show the radiation levels measured by each of the probe’s two detectors: the weatherized “pancake-style” Geiger-Mueller tube — which measures alpha (if configured for it), beta, low energy gamma, and x-radiation — and the energy-compensated gamma tube which measures penetrating gamma dose rate. The probe can be mounted next to the EMS system or outdoors, or in adjacent rooms on cables up to 100 ft in length. Standard cable is 3 meters in length. Optional signal booster can support cable lengths longer than 100 feet. Optionally the system can also be configured to share data on ethernet or wireless networks.

Teledyne e2v HiRel Microdosimeter is a compact hybrid microcircuit which directly measures total ionizing dose (TID) absorbed by an internal silicon test mass. The test mass simulates silicon die of integrated circuits on-board a host spacecraft in critical mission payloads and subsystems. By accurately measuring the energy absorbed from electrons, protons, and gamma rays, an estimate of the dose absorbed by other electronic devices on the same vehicle can be made. The Microdosimeter can operate from a wide range of input voltages. The accumulated dose is presented to three dc linear outputs and one pseudo-logarithmic output giving a dose resolution of 14 µrads and a measurement range up to 40 krads. These outputs are intended to be directly connected to most analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) or spacecraft housekeeping analog inputs (0-5 V range), which makes minimal demands on the host vehicle. The Microdosimeter incorporates a test function to allow electrical testing of the hybrid without the need for a radiation source.
