2530 Series
The Instron 2530 Series static load cells are precision force transducers engineered for versatile use in tension, compression, cyclic, and reverse stress testing, delivering accurate measurements down to 1/500th of their capacity. Individually temperature-compensated and calibrated, they support automatic recognition and electronic calibration, and are built to international force-measurement standards (ASTM E4, ISO 7500-1 class 0.5, and JIS B7721, B7733). With overload protection (150 % of rating without damage, 300 % without mechanical failure), the 2530 family offers consistent, repeatable performance across a wide force range (5 N to 300 kN).2530 Series load cells with capacities of 5 N to 100 N are for use with 3300, 3400, 5900, and 6800 Series testing systems.2530 Series Load cells with capacities of 500 N to 300 kN are for use with 3300 and 3400 Series testing systems.

Cells and Electrodes
Electrochemical cells are designed to their special purpose. The method, the matter and their reactions as well as the environmental conditions define the limitations and demands for electrochemical cells and the electrodes. Standard corrosion testing cells may have a large volume, since corrosion products shall not change the solution grossly during the test. On the other hand, it may be valuable to collect corrosion products - then a very small volume is desired ("eluation cell"). Special corrosion tests for pitting reqiure a setup where undesired crevice corrosion is excluded ("Avesta cell" , "Quarfort Cell" or "Flushed port cell". Or you want to investigate in crevice corrosion, then the cell design should meet such conditions. Load Cell Amplifier Signal Conditioner with Removeable Terminals
MODEL LCA-RTC
The LCA-RTC Module provide low-cost, dedicated signal conditioning for a single bridge type load cell or torque sensor. Model LCA-RTC comes with removable screw-clamp terminal connectors, which accept wires without soldering.On- board jumper selections include sensitivities from 0.5 mV/V to 10 mV/V, bandwidths from 100 Hz to 30 kHz, and amplified outputs of 0 to ±5V, 0 to ±10V, 0-16 mA, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. Zero and span adjustments are via precision 25-turn low-tempco metal film potentiometers.The units can be operated next to the sensor with 4-wire hookup or at distances up to 1 km (3300 feet) with 6-wire hookup. An onboard 87.325 kΩ resistor allows easy shunt calibration at the push of a button. Provision is also made for a user-furnished calibration resistor. Power requirements are 11.8 to 26V DC with load currents from 10 to 60 mA, the latter applying when the unit provides 10V DC excitation to a 350 ohm load cell and delivers a 20 mA analog output.

Solar Simulator for Concentrator Cells
Optosolar offers solar simulators with continuous light for small area solar cells (ca. 10mm x 10mm). depending on the cell size, the concentration ratio can exceed 1000 suns. Special designs cover low concentration on large area wafers (156mm x 156mm), as well as line focus applications (e.g. 8mm x 156mm at 8 suns). Flashlight Solar Simulators have the advantage of negligible temperature change to the solar cell. For this reason, they are often used for very high concentration ratios or for multijunction cells in a solar simulator with adjustable spectrum.

Solar Simulator for Multijunction Solar Cells
For series connected multijunction cells, at a given spectrum (e.g. AM 1.5 or AM 0 for space solar cells), one of the cells will limit the current in the series connection of cells. All solar simulators deviate from the true AM 1.5 spectrum, and they are only classified in wide spectral bands (100nm width). So even for class A or A+ solar simulators, it can easily happen that the bandgaps of the multijunction cells are such distributed that the 'wrong' cell will limit the current, if a solar simulator with fixed spectrum is used. In the 70s and 80s, when these measurements were first developed, intercomparisons showed deviations of cell efficiency in fixed spectrum solar simulators of more than 40%.
