The two scanner variations of the type TK94 have similar features. The difference is that variation "A" is used for checking single positions or free space while the version "RL" rotates in both directions without stopping to check for two tools. These scanners are best suited for harsh environments and have a built-in air purge with a strong/fast motor. This scanner would be used in applications that previously used the BK Mikro model 4 or 5 scanners such as lathes, transfer machines or in the work envelope of machining centers.
