The LISST-200X is Sequoia’s workhorse. It is a self-contained submersible laser-diffraction based particle size analyzer, designed for measuring suspended particle size and concentration in the aquatic environment – oceans, rivers, lakes, streams. A fast response temperature sensor and a high-resolution depth sensor makes it suitable for profiling or towing. With Sequoia’s optional BioBlock accessory it can be deployed for months on moorings or landers for long-term studies. For the system integrator, the LISST-200X can power and accept inputs from up to three external analog sensors. The Xpedition component modeling library is the most extensive in the industry, comprised of over 4,000 unique 3D solid models which are used to create highly defined parts for simulation. The 3D library allows users to easily match geometries to their 2D cell database. Designers can assemble the parts models on board and automatically mesh them for performance analysis, including stiffeners and mechanical parts. The system modeling tool is ultra-fast since it can model over 1,000 components per minute.

TSI's Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer (EEPS™) 3090 spectrometer uses an array of sensitive electrometers, combined with three proprietary data inversion matrices, to provide real-time particle size data in 32 size channels (16 channels per decade). The data inversion matrices allow the researcher to optimize size distribution accuracy for specific particle types (soot, default and compact), and matrices can be applied at the time of measurement or in a post-processing environment. The EEPS spectrometer does not include any built-in sample dilution, giving the user maximum flexibility and independence with respect to sample conditioning. However, for measuring solid particles from engines, TSI now offers the Porous Tube Thermodiluter (PTT) 3098, a fully integrated sample conditioning solution for the EEPS spectrometer; the pair of them together is the Engine Exhaust Particle Measurement System (EEPMS) 3095.
