ADLINK"s PCIe-7248/7296 are high-density parallel digital I/O boards with 96/48 I/O channels. The header connectors are fully compatible with industry Opto-22 standard. Thus, PCIe-7248/7296 can utilize the Opto-22 external devices. The PCIe-7248/7296 devices emulate mode 0 of the industry standard 8255 programmable peripheral interface (PPI) chips. The PCIe-7248/7296 provides 4/2 PPI chips respectively. Each PPI offers three 8-bit ports: Port A, Port B and Port C. The Port C is divided into 2 nibble-wide (4-bit) ports. The PCIe-7248/7296 devices have programmable timer/counters. One 16-bit counter is available for event counting, while the other 32-bit timer is available for timed interrupt generation. The PCIe-7248/7296 devices provide multiple programmable interrupt sources from DIO channels, as well as the output of the timer.

Full error injection capability is provided in BC and RT modes, with full error detection in BC, RT, BM and CBM modes. The unit provides a variable amplitude dual redundant 1553 interface. 2 Mbytes of dual ported RAM are provided. Endevco® cryogenic piezoelectric accelerometers are built specifically for measuring vibration under cryogenic conditions down to -452° F (-269° C). Signal outputs of these units are very stable even at extremely low temperatures. Their rugged internal construction is designed to withstand multiple cycles of thermal shock with steep temperature gradient. The accelerometers are self-generating devices that require no external power source for operation and contain no electronics. This allows them to operate below the -320° F (-196° C) limit of ICP accelerometers, down to -452° F (-269° C).

The overall design reduces any influence from common lab environment vibrations.The standard temperature version (to 1200℃) is supplied with high purity alumina rods. The high temperature option is furnished with alpha grade silicon carbide rods. Rods are made to order to the length required for your furnace. These units are made to order in many different gauge lengths and measuring ranges.The extensometer comes with a signal conditioner. The output is an analog DC voltage, factory calibrated with the extensometer to 0 to ±10 VDC typically. They are readily interfaced with most existing test controllers, and may be directly connected to data acquisition systems and chart recorders. Bringing the signal into a spare DC input channel (or external input) on the test controller allows the extensometer to be used for strain controlled tests like low cycle fatigue.
