  • Automated Connector Tester

    Get Control, Inc.

GCI's Automated Connector Tester is a self-contained test bench providing reliable testing of filtered and non-filtered electrical connectors. The ACT automates the tedious process of testing each pin against all others and shell for DC and AC leakage. For filter connectors, the ACT accurately measures pin-to-shell capacitance. For pins protected by diodes, the ACT provides leakage and breakdown measurements. The ACT also verifies pins which are intentionally shorted to each other or to the shell.

  • Drop-Through Load Cells

    Instron

Instron load cells are an integral part of the load weighing system of a testing machine. Their interchangeability along with transducer recognition and single point electrical calibration makes them easy to use. They maintain high alignment and are resistant to offset loading throughout the test, even with large sized specimens. Instron controls the design, manufacture and quality of all load cells, with customer applications in mind. They are certified in accordance with international standards for use in material testing machines only.

  • Sensor Products: Weld Force Gage

90061 - HITEC Sensor Solutions Inc.

Model 90061 is a self-contained, portable measurement system which allows auditing of the pinch force generated between the electrodes of resistance spot welders. Resistance welding uses a pair of electrodes to clamp two base metals firmly together prior to and during application of electrical current. Poorly clamped parts result in a defective joint. A correctly clamped assembly aids in reducing the resistance in the joint and allows the current flow to properly heat the base metals to weld the part.

  • Frequency Converter

    Georator Corporation

A frequency converter, also known as a frequency changer, is a device that takes incoming power, normally 50 or 60 Hz and converts it to 400 Hz output power. Different types of power frequency converters exist, specifically, there are both rotary frequency converters and solid state frequency converters. Rotary frequency converters use electrical energy to drive a motor. Solid state frequency converters take incoming alternating current (AC) and converts it to direct current (DC).

  • Partial Discharge Measuring System

PD - Shanghai Jiuzhi Electric Co., Ltd.

Partial discharges (PD), as defined by IEC60270, are localized dielectric discharges in a partial area of a solid or liquid electrical dielectric insulation system under high-voltage field stress. It can be caused by discontinuities or imperfections in the insulation system. PD testing thus gives an indication of deterioration of the insulation and is an indicator of incipient faults. In general PD will occur in systems operating at voltages of 3000 V and above; it should be noted though that in some cases PD can also occur at lower voltages.

  • Super MUTT Deluxe Standard Edition

#9008-SE - Innovative Products of America

The Super MUTT places a load on the trailer's electrical circuits to identify wiring problems while providing remote control operation over both air brakes and lights. Built to facilitate a one-man testing operation, the Super MUTT reduces guesswork and inspection time to prevent failures that lead to expensive road calls and citations. The remote control allows for repetitive air brake actuation at each axle to reveal developing problems often missed by normal testing procedures.

  • Vacuum Leak Test Systems

    Cincinnati Test Systems

Vacuum leak testing is the principal leak test method for testing parts that could have leakage from an external source into their housings and casings. Parts like underwater sensors or housings, outdoor electrical housings, sealed components, and components associated with vacuum sources are all prime candidates for vacuum leak testing. Operation of instruments that supply vacuum to test parts instead of pressure works in a similar, yet essentially opposite, manner as pressure decay testing.
