WinFT is our proprietary software which makes D&P instruments so functional and easy to winft1_largeuse. Based on the Windows operating system, this software provides simple and intuitive control of the instrument. All of the usual File functions are available, as well as controls over instrument settings such as resolution, apodization, zero-fill and number of coadds. Display options enable the user to display interferograms, spectra or both, as well as to adjust plot scales and units. Onboard math processing allows for real-time calculation of ratio, difference, and absorbance, and when using our calibrated hot-cold blackbody calibrators, the ability to measure calibrated radiance. Further, WinFT offers the ability to measure sample temperature in the radiance function by matching a Planck to the calibrated radiance. With the gold diffuse plate, the software can also compute and display absolute emissivity of samples. TEDS, or transducer Electronic Data Sheet, is a set of electronic data in a standardized format defined within the IEEE 1451.4 standard.
