Dual Channel, Low-Noise DC Bias Card

The PI-41701 is a dual channel bipolar DC Bias supply that can provide an output current up to 100 mA per channel. The output voltage ranges from –8 V to +8 V and features programmable current limits with LED indicators and software interrupt to show/alert the user if the channel is in current limit. This card has special filter circuitry to reduce the output noise for those applications that require a low noise bias output.

The GPIB-PMC-XL is a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) GPIB controller card that converts any CPU card with PMC slots into a GPIB controller.It performs all the basic IEEE-488.1 functions such as talker, listener and system controller. The IEEE-488.2 compatible functions make it fully compliant with the IEEE-488.2 specification. In controller applications, you can control typically up to 15 devices (instruments). If operated as a talker/listener (device) interface it does exchange data and state information with the current controller-in-charge of the GPIB bus. The GPIB-PMC-XL lets Windows and Linux programs control GPIB devices.The flat ribbon cable has a standard GPIB jack on one end and a receptacle to be plugged into the GPIB card on the other end. Multiplexed- Low-Level Function Card
Low-level multiplexed systems have a single programmable gain, wide-band amplifier following the input multiplexer. To accommodate low-level signal signals such as those from strain gauges or thermocouples and at the same time high level signals from other sources, the throughput rate must be limited to enable the high bandwidth amplifier to settle to the correct value after switching to a new channel. This results in a relatively low aggregate throughput rate when compared to an amplifier-per-channel system.
