Rapid thermal change rate is one of the classic conditions that facilitate product stress.VTC Series chambers are equipped with an LN2 cooling system, with modulating valve and directed air flow to the product, provides the rapid thermal change rates required to achieve maximum product stress. Additionally, these rates are accomplished with smaller space requirements, lower audible noise, no water requirement, and lower maintenance costs than a typical refrigeration system.

These modules are used to reduce input signal which allows lower speed processors to better process fast incoming signals. A wideband mmW block downconverter suitable for extending the operational bandwidth of other devices into this range. With LO signals at 32GHz and 44GHz, two operational bands are available. Other frequency plans with and without pre-selection can be offered on request.

The M4KSerialPlus is an enhanced serial interface module for the multiprotocol Excalibur 4000 family of carrier boards, that includes several advanced features such as a high baud rate and high throughput. This module supports up to four independent channels of serial communications, each of which can be selected as RS-485, RS-422 or RS-232. The module operates independently of the host computer, reducing the need for host intervention.The M4KSerialPlus module is based on the Exar XR16M570 Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART). The device is compatible to industry standard 16550 UARTs. Each of the M4KSerialPlus’s four channels contains a transmit FIFO capable of holding up to 16384 bytes and a receive FIFO capable of holding either 16384 receive bytes or 5460 bytes with a 32-bit Time Tag associated with each byte. These large buffers allow application code to transfer large quantities of data with a single non-blocking subroutine call. The 32-bit Time Tag on receive channels is very useful for synchronizing serial data with data from other modules on the 4000 board or on other interface boards. Each channel has a programmable baud rate of up to 10 Mbps and can be configured as RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485.The M4KSerialPlus module is supplied with C drivers, including source code.

The Model FIM-71 is a portable, laboratory quality Field Strength Meter designed for rigorous field applications. Combining a calibrated half-wave dipole antenna and a highly accurate tuned voltmeter with a range of 140 dB, the FIM-71 is suitable for practically all types of RF emission measurements in the 45 MHz to 225 MHz spectrum. The operator can switch select wide or narrow bandwidth, peak or average value of TV or pulse modulated signals, AM or FM demodulation, and a meter dynamic range of either 20 dB or 60 dB. A dc analog output voltage, proportional to the meter indication, is provided for driving a chart recorder. A leveled output from the calibrating oscillator is available for measuring cable insertion loss, filter response, amplifier gain, and other signal ratio measurements. The 4-1/2 inch, taut band, mirrored scale meter is calibrated in volts and dB for precise measurements in field or laboratory environments.
