The Keysight 85130F test port adapter protects the test set port from connecting directly with the device under test. It has a special rugged female connector designed for connecting to the network analyzer test port. This special connector does not mate with a standard male connector but converts the rugged test set port to a connection that will mate with the device under test. The set contains a 2.4 mm to PSC-3.5 mm male adapter and a 2.4 mm to PSC-3.5 mm female adapter. The frequency range for these adapters is dc to 26.5 GHz with a return loss of 26 dB or better.

This design utilizes a 3 plate system where an internal lever actuated sub plate containing the test pins raises to probe the circuit board when the handle is pulled. Heavy boards can bend and break exposed test pins. Similarly large boards which need to be probed by very small delicate test pins can also benefit from this protected test fixture design. This fixture is recommended in situations where there is a high board mass to pin size ratio and pin protection is required. Front and rear panel modular inserts allow for easy updates and customizations to the user hardware interface.

The 3512 is an eight channel non-isolated digital I/O board with +5V tolerant 74LCX14 inputs with hysteresis and +3.3V CMOS 74LVTH125 driven outputs. Each I/O line features a series 10 ohm damping and protection resistor and a 4.7K pull up resistor to +3.3V. On power up the outputs are tri-stated, and can then be enabled on a bit by bit basis. Output high drive is 32mA @ 2.0V minimum. Output low drive is 32mA @ 0.8V maximum.
