An accelerometer also is used in product testing to measure the vibration of various components.A triaxial accelerometer, also called a 3-axis accelerometer, provides measurements of the following parameters: vibration acceleration, vibration velocity and vibration displacement. In this way, vibration is measured and recorded with great precision.Most accelerometer products offered by PCE Instruments are portable devices. Many feature memory functionality so that readings can be stored and retrieved later for in-depth analysis. Some accelerometer models come with a manufacturer's calibration certificate. Some accelerometer models can be calibrated to ISO standards optionally for an additional fee.

It shows a real time overview of the excavator in navigation, profile, and 3D views; displaying the dredge tool, pontoon/vessel, design depths, and color-coded digital terrain model (DTM). The navigation view highlights the high and low spots and is updated in real time, recording the progress of the dredging work. The recording follows the shape of the dredge tool and is visible immediately in all views. Up/down indicators show the operator the exact distance to the seafloor and design depth continuously. 3D design models allow the use of complex designs. The monitoring system can also be used for a remote presentation on the bridge of the vessel and it is possible to draw the vessel in the views of the excavator as well.

The Model 421 is a benchtop, laboratory gaussmeter, capable of measuring magnetic fields from 0.001 Gauss to 300 kGauss (measurement range is dependent on probe used). This unit is well-suited to magnet testing, quality assurance, and other applications requiring highly repeatable magnetic measurements. Measurements of AC and DC magnetic fields are shown in Gauss or Tesla on the two-line vacuum fluorescent display. A Sort function allows magnet parts to be quickly checked on a pass/fail basis, while the serial port enables the gaussmeter to be controlled by a computer or automation equipment. A hall-effect gaussmeter probe is included with the Model 421, and may be selected from an extensive line of probe constructions.
