Techimp Clamp High Frequency Current Transformer model 140 is an inductive sensor for partial discharge measurements. It is suitable for online /off line PD tests on : large diameter cables ; grounding rod bar ; etc. A TNC termination is available to connect the Clamp HFCT 140 to the TechImp PD analyzer : PDCheck , PDBase etc. The arrow indicates the requested input current (Iin) direction to get coherent output voltage (Vout) polarity respect to ground. When the sensor is installed with the arrow directed to ground, the detected voltage signal (Vout) has the same phase of the input current (Iin).

The two independent outputs are programmable in a specific range i. E. The range if it is 25a the settings can be made within the range of 250 a. This facility of having the liberty to set the required current is added advantage in the digital meters of these models available in the market. The set points are field settable within the range mentioned in the model. these relays have inbuilt timers and this facility enables the user to avoid external timers and external wiring. The timers are programmable from 0 second to 20 seconds. The ranges available are up to 2500 a. The dimensions are compact and are of 96 mm x 96 mm x 65 mm only. The auxiliary supply for the relay is 110v ac or 230v ac.
