OP-FW12GA is the firmware to increase the speed of monitoring test of bit synchronous communication (such as HDLC/SDLC/X.25, or CC-Link communication), SPI communication, Profibus-DP (field bus known for high-speed communication), UART (asynchronous communication, which is commonly used). Dielectric Material Test Fixture

The 16453A is designed for accurate dielectric constant and loss tangent measurements on the E4991A/4291A/B. It employs the parallel plate method, which sandwiches the material between two electrodes to form a capacitor. The E4991A/4291A/B measures the capacitance created from the fixure, and option 002 firmware calculates the relative complex permittivity as described in the 16451B. Adjustment to insure parallel electrodes is required when using the 16451B. This adjustment is not required with the 16453A because the fixure has a flexible electrode that adjusts automatically to the material surface.

The VX1725S family comes in a VME64X form factor, with 16/8 input channels. The communication to and from the board is provided through the VMEBus and Optical Link interfaces. The VX1725S is a digitizer capable of recording waveforms along with performing advanced algorithms for online digital pulse processing (DPP). Utilizing DPP Firmware, users can acquire quantitative physical parameters (Integrated Charge, Pulse Shape Discrimination with very fine time resolution, Pulse Height Analysis) as well as read out waveforms with automatic pulse identification and baseline suppression on channel basis (Zero-Length Encoding and Dynamic Acquisition Window).

NITOS Wireless Sensor Platform
The NITOS prototype wireless sensor mote, is comprised of open-source and configurable modules. NITOS mote features the ATmega32u4 microcontroller running at 8MHz and operating at 3.3V. The aforementioned microcontroller is fully compatible with the Arduino platform that enables ease of software development and provides compatibility with several commercial sensing modules. Moreover, the platform is equipped with an Xbee radio interface that enables communication with the respective gateway. The Xbee module is a tiny device ideal for setting up mesh networks and has a defined rate of 250 kbps. This module uses the IEEE 802.15.4 stack which is the basis for theZigbee protocol. Apart from the Xbee module, NITOS mote can also feature a WiFi wireless interface in order to communicate with WiFi gateways. The developed mote currently features specific sensing modules, an air temperature and humidity sensor, a light intensity sensor and a human presencesensor. Various types of sensing modules and actuators can be further integrated exploiting existing Arduino software that implements several existing communications protocols. The firmware can be easily uploaded through the on-board USB connection. Figure 1 illustrates the developed NITOS mote and the respective gateway node.

The new version of the UBW32 now uses the PIC32MX795 IC. Based on the work of Brian Schmalz, the UBW32 is a small development board for the new PIC32MX795 32-bit CPU from Microchip. The UBW32 is breadboard friendly and includes all of the external circuitry needed to get the PIC32 up and running. Power can be provided over USB or from an external source. It has three push buttons (Reset, and two user-defined buttons) and five LEDs (Power, USB, and three user defined LEDs). All of the 78(!) of the PIC32's I/O pins are broken out.
