NAI’s 56GS1 is a 25 Watt AC/DC Power Supply that accepts multiple AC inputs plus a +270 VDC input. This COTS unit provides a single full-power output at a baseplate temperature of +85° C.Standard features include remote error sensing; remote digital (TTL) turn on/off; and protection against transients, overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuits. Options such as ESS vibration testing and choice of output voltages are available, and additional options and special units can be ordered.

It plugs directly into a standard 6U VPX chassis with a (VITA 62) 1.0” power supply slot. This off-the-shelf solution for VITA 46.0 and VITA 65 systems is compatible with VPX specifications; supports all VITA standard I/O, signals, and features; and conforms to the VITA 62 mechanical and electrical requirements for modular power supplies.

The power supply, engineered to meet extremely harsh environmental conditions, features continuous Background Built-In-Test (BIT), I2C communication, remote error sensing, and protection against Input transients, over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuits, ensuring reliable and consistent performance.

Synchros are transformer-type voltage/current transducers that convert a shaft or other rotating device's angular position and/or velocity to a multi-wire AC electrical signal. Both deliver signals proportional to the Sine and/or Cosine of the shaft angle. A Digital-to-Synchro simulator is used to convert digital angle/velocity commands to corresponding Synchro/Resolver AC signals.

NAI’s 64CS4 is a 6U VME multifunction I/O board designed for applications requiring Digital-to-Synchro/Resolver (D/S) stimulus output, as well as I/O and communication functions. This board contains five intelligent, function module slots. The board can be configured for 10 D/S channels, or for D/S in combination with I/O and communication modules. Additional enhancements include FIFO data buffering for select modules. Using multiple DSPs, the enhanced motherboard enables higher processing power and dedicated pre-processing control for each module.
