Chroma's new 62000B series of Modular DC Power Supplies offer many unique features for Burn-in and plating/electrolysis applications. The features include a N+1 redundancy, high power densities, hot-swappable maintenance, remote ON/OFF and programmable control via the CAN bus. The 62000B family offers 5 types of power module with ranging from 1V to 150V, current from 10A to 90A, and offers two mainframe type of six and three position. The six position mainframe can envelop in up to six power modules paralleled operation for 9KW power output. The 62000B can easily parallel up to fourteen mainframe to 120KW with current sharing and CAN bus control for bulk power applications. The Modular DC Power Supplies of 62000B are very cost effective with high power density and low current ripple. These instruments have be designed for burn-in applications such as the LCD panels, DC-DC converters, power inverters, notebook computers, battery chargers and many other types of electronic devices.

The 17000 series is a complete turn-key system, including carrier trays, robust battery probe contacts, high quality charge/discharge modules and intuitive software all under computer control. Patented Battery Voltage Tracking (BVT) DC-DC conversion power modules minimize power consumption in battery charging, and Energy Recycle Modules (ERM) recycle the discharged energy directly back to the DC power system for increased power efficiency. These power saving designs provide a planet friendly solution along with cost savings by reducing energy consumption. The intuitive software provides a flexible selection in the charge/ discharge channel, current rating, and modules under test. These features allow the Series 17000 to be used for final cell development, pilot line production, high volume production and ongoing reliability monitoring/quality control.

The 63200E series are high power DC loads that include a choice of three operating voltages, 150V, 600V and 1,200V, with power levels from 2kW to 24kW and up to 2,000A in a single unit. Power levels can increase up to 240kW when multiple units are paralleled.These high power loads are designed for testing a wide range of EV products including DC charging stations, car battery discharge, on board charger power components, and other power electronics components. With its high power capabilities, parallel control and dynamic synchronization functions make this load ideal for automotive batteries, fuel cells and more. The 63200E load's master/slave control application enables units with the samevoltage specification to be used in parallel and synchronized dynamically to meet the power testing requirements. In addition, a 255-set data storage function has been built-in for recall of the stored settings at any time. When used in automated testing, the save and recall functions can save a great deal of time.
