National Technical Systems
UL’s testing services are organized into sections that evaluate specific types of products. To establish recognition, manufacturers are requested to submit samples for assessment in accordance with specific UL standards. NTS performs the applicable evaluation and testing of these samples and then assembles the data packet for UL review. Upon compliant results, UL then evaluates the test data and makes the final determination as to whether a product is eligible for recognition. Upon test data review and acceptance by UL, Notification of Authorization (NofA) is issued to the manufacturer to apply the UL certification mark to their products.
