Time Synchronization Card

IXI Technology’s highly-accurate card provides time down to 62.5ns resolution in UNIX format. Its time-sourced, disciplined, voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) or optional CSAC not only allows it to provide sub-second resolution, but also to “flywheel” during the absence or loss of carrier. The module has a status LED that indicates when the internal time is synchronized with the input time code. The card provides a programmable offset on its internal time from the input time source. The generated IRIG-B or 1588 output can be configured to be synchronous to the chosen input time source or configured to use the best available time source.

Steady-state thermography is limited to detecting hot spots that heat up a minimum of 100 mK (0.100°C). This may be useful for locating shorts on high-power devices, but is inadequate for detecting low power defects such as semiconductor device leakage current or short circuit with very low or very high resistance. Steady-state thermography also suffers from poor spatial resolution as the heat from localized hot spots diffuses rapidly, blurring the location of the heat source.

Oil In Cooling Water Monitor
The ability to detect oil in water is important for many industrial processes involving cooling water or heat exchangers. For example, electric generating stations often use natural sources of water such as lakes and rivers to cool generator lube oil systems. The lube oil is cooled in a heat exchanger where the lube oil and cooling water are in isolated streams.
