OAI’s Solar Power Meters feature unique features not found in other Solar Meters. This versatile meter can display a wide variety of cell characteristics that include: cell type, window type, cell size, and temperature measurement device type. The OAI Continuous Wave Solar Power Meter can sample and display a continuous reading or peak reading. The Power Meter connects via USB port for data collection, and includes desktop software. With this small, portable, battery-powered meter, numerous production solar simulators can be tested and compared in a short amount of time, leading to greater production line consistency and throughput.

  • MEMS Sensor Simulation

    SimSENSOR - Spirent Federal Systems

Performance testing of sensor fusion in MEMS inertial and multi-GNSS navigation systems. SimSENSOR extends the capabilities of Spirent’s multi-GNSS simulators by simulating MEMS sensor outputs on a common trajectory with the simulated GNSS RF signals. The simulated MEMSs sensor outputs include user control of representative noise and errors (bias/drift).

  • Light Simulator

    Enlitech

From the review of the scientific development history, reliable and stable artificial light sources have played a very important role in the past century. For example, the artificial solar simulator is an important part of simulating sunlight to ensure accurate performance of PV characterization. With the growth of light sensor applications, more and more requirement of light simulators (or artificial light sources) explored. One of the core technologies of Enlitech is the artificial light sources. We can manipulate different lamp types (short arc lamps, LEDs, filament lamps et. al.) to generate different spectrum-form in different light intensity levels, beam sizes, and wavelength ranges. We have launched different artificial light source products for different applications fields. For instance, SS-X series solar simulators and ILS-30 ambient light simulator are for the PV field, HAAS is highly accurate star light simulator for the space field, and ALS-300 is a general-purpose light source in science research field. These products can not only meet the needs of your application, but also speed up the process of your research or mass-production.

  • High-Frequency Head & Torso Acoustic Simulator

    HATS - Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration A/S

Designed for realistic in situ electroacoustics tests on, for example, smartphones, headsets, audio conference devices, microphones, headphones, hearing aids and hearing protectors. High-frequency Head and Torso Simulator (HATS) Types 5128-C and -D are manikins with built-in realistic ear and mouth simulators that provide a realistic reproduction of the acoustic properties of an average adult human head and torso. High-frequency HATS is designed for in situ electroacoustics tests and can cover the full audible frequency range (up to 20 kHz).

  • Aerospace & Defense

    Hiller Measurements

Electronic warfare (EW) systems require advanced high-fidelity threat simulators to prepare for combat with potential adversaries. Hiller Measurements’ depth of knowledge in RF source and measurement technologies enables us to help our clients develop the best EW simulation systems that will meet the everchanging landscape of EW threat simulation.

  • Crash Simulation Systems

    Instron

The crash simulators are capable of reproducing a wide range of standardized and user-defined crash tests including advanced applications such as side impact and vehicle pitch simulation. Instron’s acceleration sled systems are used for the development and approval of vehicle safety systems, vehicle parts and also for the investigation of solids and structures during crash events.

  • Parallel Simulation Engine

    RocketSim - Cadence Design Systems

Complementing compiled-code simulators, Cadence® RocketSim™ parallel simulation engine eliminates functional verification bottlenecks by speeding up simulation using commonly available multi-core servers. The engine is proven for register-transfer level (RTL) system on chip (SoC), gate-level functional simulation, and gate-level design for test (DFT) simulation in numerous marquee systems and semiconductor companies in the mobile, server, and graphics domains. Ever-growing chip density and complexity slow down simulation, making functional verification a severe bottleneck. As a result, chip design projects miss their time-to-market targets, or designers end up taping out early with less confidence. RocketSim parallel simulation engine solves the bottleneck common in existing compiled-code simulators by offloading the time-consuming calculations to an ultrafast multi-core engine.

  • Aerospace and Aviation Solutions

    LXinstruments GmbH

SCOEs and EGSEs by LXinstruments are used during test and validation of satellite assemblies and modules in aerospace applications. As an example, we implemented solar array simulators, battery simulators and high-power load racks for a German satellite manufacturer for testing satellite power supply systems. Due to the high power ratings, the systems are partially equipped with water cooling. Specialized switching modules were developed for switching DC currents at high voltage levels; these can be programmed with SCPI commands via Ethernet. Our modular OTP² functional test platform is ideally suited for implementing durable, reliable test systems, e. g. for in-flight entertainment applications. Since the OTP2 platform is based on open interfaces, it can be quickly and easily adapted to any required communication busses and ARINC interfaces.

  • Photovoltaic Array Simulator, 15 kW, 1500 VDC

    N8900APV Series - Keysight Technologies

The PV simulators are autoranging, programmable DC power sources that simulate the output characteristics of a photovoltaic array under different environmental conditions (temperature, irradiance, age, cell technology, etc.) enabling you to quickly and comprehensively test inverter MPPT algorithms and inverter efficiency. The DG8900 SAS control software creates and downloads solar I-V curves to a single output solution. For multiple outputs choose the DG9000 SAS control software which can be used with up to 12 N8900APV sources.

  • Solar Simulator Continuous Light

    Optosolar GmbH

This type of solar simulator uses Xenon high pressure arc lamps as light source. These lamps have a colour temperature near 5800 K, so it is feasible to filter the light output to an excellent AM 1.5 spectrum. If a tuneability of the spectrum is required, these lamps can be combined with tungsten lamps to achieve multi-source solar simulators. These can be used to measure tandem/triple/multijunction solar cells. They also allow detailed analysis of all types of solar cells using a spectral metric (see : Publication List).
