Suitable for use on the front of PXI modules this connector block provides a simple method of connecting to high density 200-Pin LFH connectors. The screw terminals use a rising cage screw clamp mechanism to minimize risk of copper strand breakage. PTFE cables are recommended for use with this connector block to maximize copper cross sectional area and insulation properties. Users should make their own cable strain relief arrangements and ensure that appropriate electrical safety precautions are observed.

Each power outlet can be programmed to switched on in sequence with a specific timing delay. The delay can be staggered to ensure that order dependent systems - like PXI - can be switched on and off in an orderly way with just one operation. A staggered start up also limits the inrush current associated with the powering up of equipment, including earth current inrush, placing less stress on cabling and leakage breakers. Power on or off instructions can be initiated from either the front panel switch or via the serial interface.

40-870A-003 -
Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
The 40-870A-003 (PXI) and 42-870A-003 (PXIe) are 50Ω RF switches with 3 separate SPDT relays in a single slot. They have low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. The switch banks been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths of the 40/42-870A has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.

40-737A-901 -
Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
The 40-737A-901 (PXI) and 42-737A-901 (PXIe) are 8:1 USB multiplexers for switching USB1 and USB2 data and power connections with USB connectors. The data signal paths are 2-pole arranged as differential pairs as defined by the USB standard. The signal pair has a controlled differential impedance and the multiplexer has been designed for minimum insertion loss. The USB power paths are arranged as a common negative and a switched positive. The power paths are designed to ensure minimum loss of the USB power.
