The 40-265 range consists of 6, 4 or 2 channel modules (this version is the 6-channel, 2kΩ) that simulate the operation of a range of strain gauges making it ideal for testing strain gauge meters and a wide variety of industrial control systems. The 40-265 uses the same resistor bridge techniques that real life strain gauges are based on, ensuring accurate emulation under all conditions.

You can use matrix switches to route signals from oscilloscopes, DMMs, arbitrary waveform generators, and power supplies to various test points on a unit under test (UUT). The primary benefit of matrix switches is simplified wiring—the overall test system can easily and dynamically change the internal connection path without any external manual intervention.

PXI Remote Control Interface Module

The kit is supplied with a PCIe card which can plug into any PC PCIe slot, this PXI module for insertion into Slot 1 of a PXI chassis and 3m lead to connect the two parts together. The interface uses a single lane PCIe connection from the PC to provide a software transparent link from the PC PCIe backplane to the PXI backplane.
