It combines a live electron image with live X-ray chemical imaging to give an intuitive new way of interacting with your samples. 100 mm2 and 170 mm2 sensor areas. Quantitative analysis at 400,000 cps. EDS mapping at >1,000,000 cps.

  • ORP Meters

    Sper Scientific

ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) measures a system’s relative state for gaining or losing electrons. ORP values are affected by all oxidizing and reducing agents, not just acids and bases that influence pH measurement. In practice, ORP measures the ability of a lake or river to break down waste products, like contaminants and organic matter. When the ORP value is high, there is lots of oxygen present in the water.

  • Silicon Detectors

    Edmund Optics Inc.

Through the photovoltaic effect, detectors provide a means of transforming light energy to an electrical current. The root of the theory behind this phenomenon is a small energy gap between the valence and conduction bands of the detector. When light, with enough energy to excite an electron from the valence to the conduction band, is incident upon the detector, the resulting accumulation of charge leads to a flow of current in an external circuit. Since light is not the only source of energy that can excite an electron, detectors will have some amount of current that is not representative of incident light. For example, fluctuations in thermal energy can easily be mistaken for light intensity changes. A variety of these "non-light" contributions are present and, when summed up, make up the total noise within the detector.

  • Field Testing Equipment for 3 Phase Energy Meter

SY3002 - Hong Kong Songyang Industrial Ltd.

The field-testing instrument SY3002 is made by using the newest international digital electron technical skill To use DSP processor, as the axis to install this intelligent comprehensive automation field-testing instrument, which comes with a portable computer, the 11.3" colorful display screen, and Chinese characters operation menu suggestion.

  • Imaging X-Ray Photoelectron Spectrometer

Kratos AXIS Nova - Shimadzu Corp.

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), also known as electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (ESCA), is a mature and widely used surface analysis technique for materials characterisation. XPS provides quantitative elemental and chemical state information from the upper most 10 nm of material. The The AXIS Nova photoelectron spectrometer can collect X-ray photoelectron spectra and images from any material that is stable under the ultra-high vacuum conditions required for the technique.

Designed as a high performance Auger, the PHI 710 provides the superior Auger imaging performance, spatial resolution, sensitivity, and the spectral energy resolution needed to address your most demanding AES applications.

  • Cross Sections and Metallography

    Rocky Mountain Laboratories, Inc.

Cross sections are prepared by mounting samples in epoxy and then grinding and polishing the mount for imaging in the optical microscope or Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Valuable information from cross sectioning can include: film thicknesses, inclusions, corrosion thickness, dimensional verification, and subsurface defects. Metallographic cross sections are typically etched to reveal the microstructure. Microstructural analysis can provide information about heat treatment history, corrosion susceptibility, as well as undesirable microconstituents.
