  • Digital Insulation Testers

    Premier Electrosystems

Premier Electrosystem's Insulation Resistance test (also known as Megger, Mega Ohm Meter, Million Mega Ohm Meter) indicates whether any corrective maintenance or replacement of installed equipment is necessary, to assess if the newly installed equipment can be safely energized, and to trend the gradual deterioration of the equipment over its service life. Insulation Resistance Test is carried out to ensure the healthiness of overall insulation system of electrical equipment. It reflects the presence or absence of harmful contamination, dirt, moisture and gross degradation. Common areas of application are testing of appliances, wires, transformers, harnesses, motors, etc.

  • Compact Measurement System For Steel Wire And Rods With Small Diameters

    LAP GmbH

A glowing hot wire is pulled through the rolling mill at about 120 meters per second during ongoing production. Speed, high temperatures and dirt are special challenges for a high-precision measuring system. Our solution is the Contour Check Wire. It is specially designed for the geometric measurement of wires, rods and rebar and, at 800 Hz, offers the optimum measuring rate for accurate data acquisition. In the uniaxial version, you can check the diameter; in the two- to three-axis version, the ovality can also be determined. The small dimensions and light weight allow a quick and easy integration of the Contour Check Wire into the existing line.

  • Pressure Test & Calibration Pumps

    Additel Corporation

Pressure Test Pump is a hand operated pressure pump designed to generate pressure from 95% vacuum to 1,500psi (100bar). A high-quality screw press is designed for fine pressure adjustment, with an adjustment resolution up to 10 Pa (0.1 mbar). A specially designed shut-off valve makes the pressure as stable as possible during calibration. A built-in gas-liquid isolator protects the pump from moisture and dirt to reduce the need for maintenance. Two hand-tight quick connectors installed on the pump allow easy connecting and disconnecting to the test pump without the need for PTFE tape or wrenches. The 918 is an ideal comparison test pump for pressure instruments calibration.

  • Flow Indicators

    Kobold Instruments, Inc.

Flow indicator with rotor features a self-cleaning mechanism to ensure full visibility of the rotor at all times. Typical sight flow indicators suffer from poor indicator visibility through normal use from build-up that impedes observation of the rotor through the viewing window. Typically, for a sight flow indicator to be cleaned, it must be removed from the pipeline, cleaned and then replaced at some specified time, such as during plant shutdown. Unfortunately, dirt build-up does not typically schedule itself to correspond with planned shutdowns. Enter the KOBOLD DAA Series flow indicator. Simply twist the sight glass and the integral wipers clean the flow indicator's viewing area to allow unobstructed observation of the rotor. The offending contaminants are then simply washed away by the media flow. This process may be repeated as often as desired with no fuss and no downtime. The DAA is available with brass or stainless steel fittings with " to 1" NPT female threads. The DAA is also available without a rotor for observation of fluid condition.

  • Ionizers

Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems Europe GmbH

There are many production processes where electrostatic charges disturb smooth operation. To eliminate static, ionizers are used. One typical field of application is the semiconductor industry where the components are extremely sensitive and can even be damaged by high electric static charges. Another example is the printing industry: Here friction between the rollers and the paper generates static. The static makes the paper cling and not move correctly through the printing machine. Especially when printing on vinyl or plastics, electrostatic charges need to be removed. In the packaging industry, plastic sleeves or foils tend to stick to each other, which can be prevented with an ionizer eliminate static. A general problem in assembling processes is the adhesion of dust and dirt particles. Contamination of workpieces can be prevented by having static eliminators neutralize and blow away undesired particles.
