The low-power, high-speed transceivers of this family are designed for RS-485, RS-422 and RS-423 communication applications. They usually contain one driver and one receiver in half duplex configuration. Each driver output and receiver input is protected against electrostatic discharge up to ± 15 kV and has no latch-up.
