Gaussian optics lens antennas are offered with either a circular or rectangular waveguide interface. While Gaussian optics lens antennas with a rectangular waveguide interface can only support linear polarization, models with a circular waveguide interface can support various polarization types including horizontal, vertical, left-handed circular, and right-handed circular polarization for broader applications. Gaussian optics lens antennas are designed and constructed to offer high efficiency, low side lobes and a rugged mechanical configuration. A corrugated feed horn and dielectric lens allow these antennas to form well-defined Gaussian beams. Low Noise Amplifiers

Low Noise Pre-Amplifiers
Low Noise Pre-Amplifier and companion external low noise amplifier (LNA) are used to amplify low level microwave signals. The Pre-Amplifier contains an AC/DC power supply, internal low noise amplifier, and a bias tee to source a DC bias voltage on the RF input connector.To overcome cable loss between the test antenna and the Pre-Amplifier assembly, a remote low noise amplifier (LNA) is mounted directly onto the 10 GHz antenna. A bias tee inside the Pre-Amplifier chassis powers the remote LNA through the coax cable interconnecting the pre-amplifier and the 10 GHz test antenna.

Low Noise Differential Preamplifiers
Provide a high gain amplification to 1MHz with an AC output derived from a very low noise FET instrumentation amplifier. Each model has fixed gain settings of x1 (0dB), x10 (20dB), x100 (40dB) and x1000 (60dB) over a selectable bandwidths of 100Hz, 1kHz (HP), 3kHz, 30kHz, 100kHz and 1MHz (7000 model only). Noise referred to input is 7nV√Hz and common mode rejection is >100dB at 1kHz. Momentary pushbutton switches are provided that control coupling, bandwidth, gain and channel on/off selections. BNC connectors are provided for single-ended and differential input, ac output, and dc output (optional) connections.
