Our small format embedded switching (SIM relay) cards offer a choice of switching configurations using low cost industry standard SIM connectors. They free the designer from the detail of routing complex switching circuits, you may select from a wide range of cards using the built in RS-232 and I2C interfaces. These low-cost embedded switching cards are intended to be mounted on to a simple motherboard. They may be used to construct very high density switching networks. SIM based switching cards also allow for very simple in-field maintenance.

GX6188 Series
The GX6188 is a 6U PXI, high density matrix, GENASYS architecture switching card. The card provides the user with the ability to connect and interface resources to multiple UUT connections. The board consists of two matrices - a 104x8 and a 8x8 matrix. The GX6188 can connect to 104 UUT switching points, eight external resources and an eight channel global bus via front panel connectors. Multiple GX6188 cards can be connected using the global bus. Like other GENASYS switch cards, the GX6188 features an integral, 3-dimensional switching architecture which provides the flexibility to connect test system resources to multiple UUT connections as well as supporting an expansion bus connection without sacrificing I/O matrix connections when building multiple switch card configurations.

The 40-837A-101 (PXI) and 42-837A-101 (PXIe) are 75Ω 2x2 RF matrices with 1 bank in a single slot. Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices. Larger matrices are easily built with varied X and Y dimensions, such as 8x2 and 4x4 using multiple 40/42-837A modules.

Digital I/O Device
The Digital I/O Device supports channel, current, and voltage options to help you automate applications. This module features programmable input filters to remove chatter, noise, glitches, and spikes on inputs, and these filters also provide debouncing for digital switches and relays. You can use the module to perform safe operation when connected to pumps, motors, and other industrial actuators or machinery using the included power-up states. The module also provides a fail-safe mechanism that monitors for computer or application crashes and place the system in a state to ensure safe recovery. Additionally, some models include high-voltage, high-current, and isolation options to ensure the product can work safely in many environments.The Digital I/O Device includes the NI-DAQmx driver and configuration utility that simplify configuration and measurements.
