In-Situ Cross- Stack Laser Analyzer

LS25 is an in-situ analyzer for non-contact measurement of the concentration of gases. The measuring principle of the LS25 is based on the principle of single line spectroscopy (Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy, TDLAS). A single cross-sensitivity-free absorption line of the gas to be measured is selected in the near infrared range. A single-mode diode laser operating at room temperature scans the respective absorption line. By using an opposite receiver, the absorption caused by the sample gas is measured and from this the concentration is calculated. An automatic correction for pressure and temperature changes is possible. In addition, the transmission is displayed respectively output as a signal for preventive maintenance.

We provide software with an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) that can control multiple lasers from a single window. If preferred, commands may be sent over a USB virtual COM port. A single-frequency laser is a type of laser which operates within a singular resonator mode, achievable when the net gain bandwidth of the laser remains narrower than the frequency spacing of the resonator modes. In cases where the mode spacing isn’t adequately large to support a single resonator mode, single-frequency operation is maintained through the utilization of intracavity filters. This enables the single-frequency laser to possess an exceedingly narrow linewidth, frequently measuring only a few kHz, and an extended coherent length. A clear association exists between the coherence length and the spectral width of the laser.
