Matrix Switch Module
The 40-729A-001 (PXI) and 42-729A-001 (PXIe) are 8x4 50 Ω RF matrices with SMB connectors. The 4x-727A/728A/729A range are high density RF matrix modules suitable for switching up to 300 MHz in 50 Ω or 100 MHz in 75 Ω. They are available in 50 Ω or 75 Ω versions with SMB connectors or in 50 Ω versions with a multiway connector.

6.6 GHz PXI RF Analog Signal Generator—The PXI‑5652 features continuous-wave generation capabilities with FM, 2‑FSK, or OOK modulation. It uses direct digital synthesis (DDS) for high-resolution frequency hopping or phase-continuous sweeping for fixture and device characterization applications. The PXI‑5652 is ideal for clocking nonstandard sample rates, such as WCDMA signals at baseband or intermediate frequency (IF). With these versatile signal generators, you can perform analog and digital modulation through the onboard DDS circuit, which gives you frequency modulation and frequency-shift keying for applications such as bit error rate test, antenna testing, or even keyless entry. You can also perform amplitude modulation using on-off keying.

The 40-874-002 is a 50 Ohm 8 to 1 RF multiplexer with 2 banks in a single PXI slot. It has low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths of this RF multiplexer has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.
