AGILE features a broadband spectral output from <400 nm to >2000 nm and pulse repetition rates from 10 kHz to 1 MHz, making it the ideal light source for the majority of fluorescence lifetime applications. Using the Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) technique, fluorescence lifetimes from a few picoseconds to microseconds can be accurately resolved. It is also compatible with Multi-Channel Scaling (MCS) mode for lifetimes up to 10 μs.

The primary difference between laser heads is in the velocity, reference frequency and optical output power. Other considerations are size, heat dissipation, and input power requirements. Which laser you choose depends primarily on the application in which it will be used. For example, semiconductor lithography systems typically have faster moving parts (stages), and therefore need higher velocities than machine tool applications.

Profiling Systems
ICK profiling systems measure, detect, classify, count, and check vehicles in 3D. They determine the number of axles on heavy goods trucks for vehicle classification and measure vehicle dimensions to rectify loading errors. The systems recognize overheated vehicles approaching tunnels and other entrances and activate diversions. They also monitor external train contours. Integrated Laser Controller

AOSense has developed a compact Integrated Laser Controller (ILC) that can be paired with our External Cavity Diode Lasers (ECDLs) to control laser current, piezo transducer (PZT), and temperature. The ultra-low noise electronics are fully digitally controlled. The ILC dimensions are only 5″x2.9″x0.95″. We provide software with an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) that can control multiple lasers from a single window. If preferred, commands may be sent over a USB virtual COM port.
