The ADXL372 is an ultralow power, 3-axis, ±200 g MEMS accelerometer that consumes 22 μA at a 3200 Hz output data rate (ODR). The ADXL372 does not power cycle its front end to achieve its low power operation and therefore does not run the risk of aliasing the output of the sensor. In addition to its ultralow power consumption, the ADXL372 has many features to enable impact detection while providing system level power reduction. The device includes a deep multimode output first in, first out (FIFO), several activity detection modes, and a method for capturing only the peak acceleration of over threshold events. The Three-axis Fluxgate Magnetometer TFM1186 is a member of Metrolab's THM1176 family of 3-axis handheld magnetometers. It is a lightweight, low-power, go-anywhere fluxgate magnetometer. Outstanding noise characteristics make fluxgate magnetometers the instrument of choice for measuring minute disturbances in the local magnetic field, for example due to an iron mass or AC power-line noise. The TFM1186 has a range of ±100 µT and a resolution of 4 nT. The TFM1186 simultaneously measures all three axes of the magnetic field, so you get a true field strength reading no matter how you hold the probe. A great device, that works well for building automation, factory, and machine automation, remote maintenance, testing, and diagnosis, the PET-7083 is a 3-axis high speed encoder/counter module. Its each axis can be individually configured for Quadrant, Pulse/Direction or CW/CCW counting modes. The maximum input rate for Quadrant counting mode is 1 MHz, and for Pulse/Direction, CW/CCW counting modes is 4 MHz. The encoder/counter module is equipped a FRAM to retain the counter value after it is powered off. FRAM is a nonvolatile memory that can hold written data even after it is powered off. The data retention can be 10 years. And the feature can be configured as enabled or disabled.
