The 68DT1 is a 3U OpenVPX™ board featuring up to 96-Channels of Standard Functionality (SF) DT1 module-type or Enhanced Functionality (EF) DT4 module-type Discrete I/O functions [foptioned, factory configurable].48-Channels are dedicated as input (voltage or contact sensing with programmable, pull-up/pull-down current sources). An additional 24 or 48-Channels are programmable for either input or output (current source, sink, or push-pull) switching up to 500 mA per channel from an applied 3 – 60 V external VCC source (or sink to ISO-GND). The 68DT1 can sense broken input connections and whether an input is shorted to +VCC or to ground. Additional features of the DT4 EF are listed below. The 68DT1 offers unparalleled programming flexibility, a wide range of operating characteristics, and a unique design that eliminates the need for pull-up resistors or mechanical jumpers.

The VP32001 is a PC-compatible high performance 3U VPX processor board supporting the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processor and the Intel® Series 6 mobile class chipset with up to 8 Gbytes of DDR3-1333 ECC SDRAM. The VP32001 features an XMC site and a range of I/O interfaces including two SATA600 channels, dual 1000Base-BX, RS232/422/485 and USB interfaces. The board provides a flexible PCI Express® (PCIe) backplane fabric interface that can be configured in several ways from eight x1 PCIe ports to a single x8 PCIe port making it suitable for use in both distributed systems and centralized switching systems as defined in OpenVPX (VITA 65). Eurocard Based Systems
With over 100K Rittal brand components, Pixus has virtually unlimited configurations of chassis platforms for embedded computing. Typical plug-in modules are 3U or 6U with a 160mm depth. OpenVPX, CompactPCI Serial, CompactPCI, VME, and VME64x are open standard backplane architectures commonly used in 19" rack-mount Eurocard enclosure systems. (For OpenVPX products, see the Pixus OpenVPX section.) Enclosures are available to hold these boards in front-to-rear, bottom-to-top, and for 6U and 8U boards there is side-to-side cooling options. The chassis can come with or without integrated fan trays or with redundant push-pull cooling. EMC versions are also standard.
