The TMR9112 demo board was developed to support evalution of the TMR9112 single-axis sensor. The demo board comes with the fast bipolar current pulsing circuit needed for initialising the TMR9112 sensor, and it can be powered from a USB port or any external 5V power supply. For user convenience, the demo board has an optional on-board timer clock with four selectable frequency settings. The On-board timer clock and frequency output can be enabled using the jumper pins. This demo board is divisable along the dotted line so that the sensor board can be seperated from the pulsing circuit board.

Isolated Four-Port Serial Interface Cards

These cards can be installed in any 5-volt PCI-bus computer that can accommodate "long" cards and are designed to provide effective communication on long communication lines in noisy environments. The data lines are opto-isolated from the computer and from each other to assure communication even when large common mode noise and voltages are superimposed. Type 16550 UARTs are used. These include a 16-byte transmit/receive FIFO buffer to insure against lost data in multitasking operating systems. All ports are independently addressable and an on-board crystal-controlled oscillator permits precise selection of baud rates up to 115,200 baud or, by changing a jumper, up to 460,800 baud.

Clock Divider is designed to divide high frequency signals, up to 2.5GHz, from 4 to 256 times. It will accept single ended (Unbalanced) or differential (Balanced) signals with amplitudes as little as 100mV rms. The clock division is controlled by 4 shunt jumpers. 8 Channel Sample & Hold and Signal Conditioning Board for Group3
All channels provide for voltage division ahead of transient suppression before going into the S&H ICs. Channels that are sampled and held use a common sample and hold pulse that samples while high and holds while low. Jumpers on each S&H chip allow buffering of analog signals where sample and holds are not required. The PS57 is a combination power supply and 4 1/2 digit LED display for the P55/P855 family of pressure transducers and transmitters. The PS57 accepts 110 VAC power and provides the required 24 Vdc excitation for the transducer.
