A temperature calibrator, often called a thermometer calibrator, is used to correct inaccuracies in installed thermometers and temperature sensors, because temperature measurement is a critical parameter in many industrial processes. Although simulators are sometimes called temperature calibrators or thermometer calibrators and may be used to provide thermometer calibration for the electronics in an installed system, a temperature source with a calibrated reference sensor is still required to provide a complete and meaningful calibration. The software has been designed in response to the need to verify whether a conventional or renewable power plant is compliant with local Grid Code interconnection requirements on basis of generating unit tests. There is a new trend towards verification of requirements at the point of interconnection of a power plant using transient stability simulations with numerical models. An increasing number of Transmission System Operators are including model validation methods to quantify the risk and uncertainty when using these simulation models in stability studies. These new methods have been included in the DIgSILENT GridCode tool.

SAGE Millimeter wave rectangular gain horns, also called pyramidal gain horns, are offered as both standard and custom models with a rectangular waveguide interface. The pyramidal gain horns only support linear polarization. With a calibrated gain chart, these horns can be used to measure the gain of other antennas by comparing the generated signal levels of both. For this reason, these horns are also referred to as standard gain horns. The listed models offer 23 dB nominal gain, 10/11 degrees typical half power beamwidth and 14 dB/30 dB typical side lobe levels at the center frequency of the band. These horns cover full waveguide bandwidths within the frequency range of 8.2 to 170 GHz. In addition to the models listed below, models with 10, 15, 20 and 25 dB gain and other frequency bands are also available.

Nex Flow® Air amplifiers are compact, low cost air flow “movers” that are virtually maintenance free. Applications include the venting of fumes and smoke, conveying of low weight materials, and entraining a high volume of air to cool, blow off, and dry. Air Amplfiiers use the “Coanda effect” to draw in the surrounding atmosphereic air while consuming only aminimal amount of compressed air. These products can amplify airflow up to 17 times (depending on the size) resulting in dramatcally reduced levels of noise. Air Amplifiers (also called Air Movers) draw in atmospheric air from the back of the unit as well as having downstream entrainment further amplifying the flow. They are used for cooling and venting.
