Every electrical apparatus or machine consists of two distinct sections - one which carries the electricity, and other which is isolated (insulated) from the electric currents. The former may be called the `Live' side whiles the latter `Earth’ side. A person near about the apparatus or handling it can safely touch the Earth side, but not the live side, for obvious reasons. To ensure that the isolation of the two sections is effected properly, the apparatus is tested by subjecting it to a Voltage much higher than the normal working Voltage. If the insulation is good, it stands the test without breakdown otherwise high electrical stress punctures the insulation at its weakest spot foretelling a later calamity to unwary user. Government Department- when buying electrical equipments- and all reputable manufacturers test every piece of equipment by this test called HIGH VOLTAGE TEST. It weeds out poorly insulate apparatus.

Virtual SBC
What is a virtual session border controller or virtualized SBC? Traditionally, a session border controller (SBC) is a device positioned between carrier networks or between an enterprise LAN and a service-provider WAN. In the latter case, the border controller is called an enterprise session border controller or eSBC. Whether it is delivered as a dedicated hardware session border controller or a virtualized network function, (a.k.a. software SBC) the border controller manages call (session) setup and teardown. The SBC also provides network demarcation (demarc), or separation (border) between network domains, as well as other types of management (control) over the data streams that pass between networks. With the growing popularity of software defined networking (SDN) and the burgeoning market development and adoption of network function virtualization (NFV), eSBC functionality is more and more often de-coupled from a dedicated hardware device and delivered as a virtual instance running as a virtual machine (VM) on top of a hypervisor. It is generally not well understood in the market why an eSBC is such a critical network element for a secure and reliable SIP-based enterprise phone system. Rectangular Horn Antennas
SAGE Millimeter wave rectangular gain horns, also called pyramidal gain horns, are offered as both standard and custom models with a rectangular waveguide interface. The pyramidal gain horns only support linear polarization. With a calibrated gain chart, these horns can be used to measure the gain of other antennas by comparing the generated signal levels of both. For this reason, these horns are also referred to as standard gain horns. The listed models offer 23 dB nominal gain, 10/11 degrees typical half power beamwidth and 14 dB/30 dB typical side lobe levels at the center frequency of the band. These horns cover full waveguide bandwidths within the frequency range of 8.2 to 170 GHz. In addition to the models listed below, models with 10, 15, 20 and 25 dB gain and other frequency bands are also available.
