The Emergency Interseat Sequencing System (EISS) was designed an qualified for the F-15K Fighter and has since been installed in the F-15SG and F-15SA configurations of the F-15. The system consists of Thermal Batteries with Initiators, a Digital Interseat Sequencer, Mode Selector, and customer provided cabling Electro-Explosive Devices (EEDs). The system is operated from either thermal battery and aircraft 28Vdc for redundancy. A separate field Test Set (EESSTS) performs both complete system continuity tests and an operational test of the total system installed in the aircraft. The sequencer is programmable and could be used in any escape system.Based on the initiation point, Forward or Aft Seat Handle, Internal or External Canopy Jettison Handles, and the Mode Selector setting, the Sequencer provides firing pulses to the EEDs to support canopy removal, ejection seat inertial reel activation(s) and ejection seat catapult firing(s). Sensing capabilities are provided to determine system state, canopy gone, seat gone, so as to provide the optimum escape timing.

The Hawk® EMS is a wall or tripod-mounted radiation monitoring and alarm system designed for use with the Hawk® Radius dual sensor radiation probe. Each EMS System comes with a Hawk Radius Probe. The system is extremely energy efficient and can run for weeks on an internal 9 volt back-up battery if power fails. It is well suited for operating on a small solar panel, which is an optional accessory. The Hawk® EMS features two displays that show the radiation levels measured by each of the probe’s two detectors: the weatherized “pancake-style” Geiger-Mueller tube — which measures alpha (if configured for it), beta, low energy gamma, and x-radiation — and the energy-compensated gamma tube which measures penetrating gamma dose rate. The probe can be mounted next to the EMS system or outdoors, or in adjacent rooms on cables up to 100 ft in length. Standard cable is 3 meters in length. This is our top of the line Hardy Shaker. It provides the ability to set the amplitude and change the frequency range without the amplitude changing. This automation makes conducting vibration tests easier. Tests can be conducted on multiple vibration transducers, and then the saved data can be transferred via USB Flash Drive to be displayed in an automated and customizable report using an Excel template on your computer. In manual mode, the vibration test level and test frequency can be set from 7 Hz to 10,000 Hz. The high accuracy instrument can display the vibration level in terms of g’s peak, velocity peak (in/sec or mm/s) or displacement peak-to-peak (mils or µm). The unit can support payloads up to 800 grams (see frequency limits in the manual). A built-in display reads the output sensitivity, which can be stored in memory. Complete testing sequences and data can be stored in memory for each tested sensor, the unit logs the data on the spot or stores it for later use. For testing of heavy transducers or at high frequencies, the HI-903 automatically corrects the sensitivity calculation for the effects of transducer mass loading. A built-in self-test program checks for accuracy of all calculations. The HI-903 has a built-in battery charger that can operate on 120 or 240 VAC. The unit comes in a rugged Pelican case.

The SSI is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant portable handheld Load Cell Indicator. Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the SSI will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the SSI can be set up by simple front panel push buttons. The SSI can be scaled to a full 5 digit display from 0 to 99,999 counts to read directly in engineering units such as grams, ounces, pounds, inch pounds, etc. The SSI also has a Units key for automatic conversion of readings for load, torque and pressure. The SSI has an ultra-fast signal-sampling rate of 15,360 samples/second for true peak and/or valley testing capability. Auto-tare allows the meter to be set to zero for any input signal level. The SSI also features a USB port for data logging to a PC. You can also log data to the SSI’s internal memory storing up to 16,000 time and date stamped readings. The SSI also features 2 built-in solid-state alarm relays with LED and audible indicators. The SSI will operate up to 65 hours on a single charge or use the included battery charger for applications where the SSI is mounted permanently.
