The use of one or more compensating reactors increases the capacitance that the internal power supply can excite to conduct measurements. As the measuring range of the CTS-12KSA / ACTS 12K exceeds the kVA rating of the internal power supply, one way of using the test set over its entire measuring range is to form a resonant circuit with the test sample.
