Coherent Synthesizers
Innovative Technical Systems has developed high-performance agile microwave synthesizers with truly phase-coherent frequency switching at any step size. These synthesizers offer frequency coverage from 250 MHz to 18 GHz (ACS-25018) or 850 MHz to 18 GHz (ACS-85018) and frequency resolution under 0.1 Hz. The agile design offers typical switching speeds of less than 300 nsec and programmable amplitude from 0 to +10 dBm from frequency-to-frequency. Spurious performance is typically <-70 dBc. A versatile waveform table design is implemented that allows frequency, amplitude, and output markers to be defined for each step in the table. Waveform table lengths up to 256K are supported.

Open Top BGA Sockets
Ironwood has the most comprehensive collection of open top BGA and QFN sockets that can be used for qualification application, silicon FIB testing, system development, thermal characterization, burn-in application, etc. IC socket can be defined as an electromechanical device, which provides removable interface between IC package and system circuit board with minimal effect on signal integrity. Typical packages include BGA, LGA, QFN, QFP, WLCSP, etc. Open top allows access to the top side of IC. Below is an example BGA socket that uses low cost elastomer contact technology.

T3 E3 Analysis software compliments the hardware and supports simultaneously monitoring up to 12 x T3 E3 lines (2x Rack units) for all alarms, frame errors, signalling and data. If one adds the Channelized T1 Analyzer software to the system, then the T1s within the T3s can also be analysed in software, 12 x T3 E3 lines (=12*28 T1s) constituting 336 full duplex T1s, or 672 simplex T1s monitored simultaneously using a single Rack unit.
