Our standard BWSpec® spectral data acquisition software allows for easy collection of data from our Raman systems and modular spectrometers. It includes tools for instrument control for data collection and spectral manipulation. The raw data and corrected data are stored and can be easily viewed. Data manipulation tools include smoothing, baseline correction and derivatives. Data can be saved in different formats for use in additional application software. For spectral identification against Raman spectral libraries with a simple interface for immediate identification for verification with a pass/fail result, our BWID® software provides qualitative analysis. Users of BWID software can create their own Raman spectral libraries, or select from our numerous ready to use libraries. For identification with portable Raman in regulated environments, the US FDA 21 CFR part 11- complaint version of BWID can be used. B&W Tek’s unique see-through identification using the STRam® can also be done using the BWID software operating on the embedded tablet computer of the STRam system. For quantitative analysis, data collected with BWSpec or other packages can be imported into the BWIQ® multivariate data analysis software, offering a full suite of data preprocessing, regression and classification analysis algorithms. PLS regression models from the BWIQ software an be used in rel-time in our BWAnalyst software, for use with the QTRam , as well as in Metrohm’s Vision® software. The i-Raman series portable Raman instruments can also be operated for single acquisition, or for real-time analysis in the Routine Analysis mode of the Vision software.

VisualIMPACT Software
CEAST VisualIMPACT software is designed to control CEAST Pendulums and Drop Tower Series, manage tests and offer a user-friendly interface when using the Data Acquisition System. It records force and absorbed energy data related to impacts, visualizes and helps analyze the results and calculates resilience. The operator is guided through parameters setup by means of tables describing strikers and specimens that are filtered according to the test type and international standard selected. In the case of instrumented tests, many possibilities for data analysis and visualization are made available. The results are shown through comprehensive and customizable graphs and can be filtered by break type (only specimens with a selected break type are shown). Working with groups of test, the software performs a statistical analysis, and the operator can pick and discard single test results. Different measurement units can be selected. It is possible to print reports and to export data totally or partially. Recent improvements include the possibility to set a number of user profiles, including graphic settings, default printing options, advanced parameters for data analysis and so on, switching quickly from one another when looking at results. The introduction of a new Data Acquisition System (CEAST DAS 64K) in the Impact product line has also triggered a number of new capabilities for the SW, which is now able to process a more comprehensive calibration file for instrumented tups and hammers and manage DAS configurations with a wider range of data acquisition channels.

We Have a unique suite of tools to support the development and implementation of test programs created using IEEE 1641 to define the signals and tests. These include the entry-level version of newWaveX (newWaveX–Lite), the development versions of newWaveX (newWaveX–SD and newWaveX–PD) and the complete integrated development environment for IEEE 1641, SigBase. These tools provide everything necessary to work with IEEE 1641, from creating simple signals through to implementing and managing a complete 1641 test environment. All of our 1641 tools are commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) items that may be used stand-alone or integrated into a complete test development environment. newWaveX products may be integrated with third party test executives and associated software.newWaveX is an intuitive user-friendly suite of products that does not require specialist training for users to acquire the skills to develop 1641 programs.
