ImageLab is a one-of-a-kind image processing tool developed by our partner EPINA for the analysis of data from various spectroscopic imaging techniques such as THz, optical, UV/VIS, IR, Raman, or mass spectrometry. Based on multivariate statistical methods it enables the user to analyze and classify acquired hyperspectral images, to merge them with maps of physical properties and to overlay them with conventional high-resolution color photos. The DEFECTOMAT systems by FOERSTER were specially developed for quality testing and process monitoring of long products. From hot testing to all bright steel processing steps, the surfaces of semi-finished products made from austenitic, (non) ferromagnetic metals can be tested for defects. The DEFECTOMAT systems operate in a contactless and non-destructive manner in accordance with the eddy current method and are used for detecting short defects, such as holes or localized defects and transverse defects. The systems detect defective materials fully automatically and reliably. Defects can be marked, classified, and automatically discarded. the test speed of up to 150 m/s facilitates 100% testing, even at high production speeds. The systems benefit from low operating costs and frugal energy consumption as well as low maintenance costs, few wear parts, and low use of materials.

Scanner Probe
RFS set
The RFS set consits of three passive near field probes designed for the use in a measurement scanner during the development of E-field and magnetic field. They are designed for frequency ranges of 30 MHz to 3 GHz. The probe heads of the RFS set allow for close measurements needed to correctly localize interference sources on an electronic assembly. They document the whole image of the device under test`s near field. The scanner probes have a sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. They are connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. They do not have an internal terminating resistance. The measuring signal can be increased with PA 203 or PA 303 preamplifier. On request RFS, LFS and XFS scanner probes can be produced.
