These converters support up to 255 fiber nodes, and each fiber node can extend the Fast and Gigabit Ethernet data up to 100 miles or 160 km. Depending on the site situation, these multi-drop fiber optic converters can be configured as a daisy-chain or a self-healing redundant ring fiber network.
