Acoustic Emission Sensors
Acoustic wave (acoustic emission) sensors are the ceramic piezoelectric transducers converting the mechanical elastic acoustic waves generated in the material (e.g. elastic waves occur when a material cracks, wears, deforms, or corrodes) to electrical signals.
