The F125 square wave frequency generator replaces our F150/155/105 frequency generators. It is a completely new design with many new features. The main one being that it can run standalone up to 1500 program files copied from a PC or Mac. It is also possible to connect the F125 to a computer via a USB port and control it with the F100 3.0 software for MS-Windows in the same way our F150/155/105 operate from a PC. Program files written for our current F150/155/105 are compatible with the new F125.

Teledyne Defence & Space’s Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (IFM) module, also known as a Digital Frequency Discriminator (DFD), offers high speed frequency measurement across the full operating bandwidth.The IFM measures the frequency of RF signal present at its input and presents a result at its output as digital data. The RF input signal is conditioned by an RF amplifier that provides sufficient drive for the frequency resolving circuits. The raw video from the resolvers is digitised and processed into the required output format. There is additional timing and control circuitry which initiates the measurement process and provides handshake data to the host system processor.

Detailed description of item: The AOSense frequency comb is a low noise, polarization maintaining (PM) device. Key features include a PM fiber architecture centered at 1550nm with turnkey modelocking; a free-running linewidth of the carrier-envelope offset frequency of <200 kHz; a temperature-insensitive all-fiber f-2f interferometer exhibiting fceo beatnotes with SNR > 45dB (300kHz RBW); and dual fast/slow cavity length actuators with a bandwidth of >300 kHz. The repetition rate of the comb is factory set and allows matching across multiple combs for dual comb applications. The optics package incorporates an optical heterodyne module designed for locking to the comb to an ITU-specified laser reference. The comb is capable of supporting an Allan deviation of < 5 x 10-18 at 1 second and ~10-20 after 105 seconds. Add-on features include all fiber extensions to visible wavelengths corresponding to several atomic transitions. An integrated comb electronics package is currently under development.

Bench top ASE broadband source system with built-in ASE source module has particularities that it can be operated easily and enables its output spectral feature changed variously by controlling pump LDs inside the module. The output of ASE source can be set to the customized feature by controlling the output power of embedded pump LD individually through the provided program. In case optimum ASE output features such as wide broadband (>80nm@-10dBm/nm) and stable output power (<0.02dB) is needed, it is made up so that the provided Default mode along with User mode can be chosen and set up. Through the micro processor and FPGA inside, more stable application is possible by combining the real-time monitoring of output power and pump LD status with the high speed feedback routine.
