All channels provide for voltage division ahead of transient suppression before going into the S&H ICs. Channels that are sampled and held use a common sample and hold pulse that samples while high and holds while low. Jumpers on each S&H chip allow buffering of analog signals where sample and holds are not required. An advantage to the buffers is that it provides a high input impedance for high impedance voltage dividers.

Portable Sulphuric Acid Dewpoint Temperature Monitor

The fuels used in boilers, such as coal, heavy oil and natural gas, contains S. during the combustion process, S and O₂ form SO₂, and a small amount of SO₂ is converted into SO₃ under catalysis of Fe₂O₃, V₂O₅ and other catalysts. Under normal circumstances, the volume of SO₃ in the boiler flue gas is 1×10-6～50×10-6, and the water vapor is about 10%. When the temperature of the flue gas is below 200°C, SO₃ and the water vapor are completely combined into H₂SO₄ vapor. A small amount of H₂SO4 vapor will significantly increases the acid dew point. When the surface temperature of the boiler heat exchange equipment is lower than the flue gas acid dew point, the H₂SO₄ vapor will condense on the surface to become sulfuric acid solution with a concentration of about 80%, which will adhere to the surface of the heat exchanger and cause acid corrosion. Typical equipment that is prone to corrosion includes air preheaters, induced draft fans and flue walls.

The ENERGY SAVING static converter serves to generate a controlled squarewave single-phase alternate voltage (low frequency: 25 ÷ 125Hz) for industrial applications requiring high load power supplied by an external matching transformer. The power supply, sectioned by remote control switch and external fuses, is fed by a three-phase electric line via uncontrolled diode bridge and filtered by inductor and capacitor battery. When long term electro-chemical tests (>1000 hours) are run to monitor the cell degradation at the cathode for example, it is important to avoid any contaminant in the gas flow rate.Inconel 601 flange equipped with alumina housing and alumina tube to feed the gas to the electrode during long term test (>1000 h)Typical poisoning is coming from the chromium contained in the steel tubing. The volatile chromium species (Cr6+) will flow into the cathode (with the air) and thanks to the intake of electrons at the electrode, the chromium ion will transform to chromium oxide and be deposited at the cathode triple point. In such a case, the long term test kit is used. The Inconel 601 flange is equipped with an alumina housing (>96 % Al2O3) and the air (or other gas) is led through an alumina tube. The long term test kit is fully compatible with other functionalities proposed with the Open Flanges™ test Set-Up as the integrated steamer or the small pellet test kit. The long term test kit can be implemented on the fuel, on the air or on both sides.
